This policy explains how service fees and airline ticket refunds work with BookingDesk LLC.
Our Service Fee
BookingDesk charges a service fee for flight booking assistance. This fee is separate from any airline fare, tax, or carrier charge.
The service fee is always disclosed before any booking is processed. You will not be charged without being told the full amount and confirming your agreement.
When No Fee Is Charged
If you call and decide not to proceed before any reservation has been initiated, no service fee will be charged.
When the Fee Is Non-Refundable
Once our agents have begun searching, reserving, or processing your booking, the service fee is considered earned and non-refundable — even if the desired fare is no longer available by the time we process the request.
Airline Ticket Refunds
Refunds for airline tickets depend entirely on the airline's own fare rules — not BookingDesk. We can assist you with the process, but decisions rest with the airline.
- Within 24 hours of booking: Most tickets qualify for a full refund per U.S. DOT regulations
- After 24 hours: Depends on the fare type — refundable fares may qualify; non-refundable fares may convert to travel credit
- Processing time: Airline refunds typically take 7–14 business days
